Project Management (PMO)
The PMO (Project Management Office) Module is a powerful tool for planning and managing organizational initiatives. It allows administrators to structure work across programs, projects, outcomes, activities, and sub-activities.
Navigation: Admin → PMO Module
1. PMO Hierarchy¶
The system uses a structured approach to manage complex initiatives: - Programs: Overarching initiatives encompassing multiple related projects. - Projects: Specific objectives with defined timelines and deliverables. - Outcomes: The expected results or benefits of each project. - Activities: Key tasks required to achieve outcomes (can target Startups/SMEs or Individuals). - Sub-Activities: Granular tasks for detailed project planning.
2. Planning and Monitoring¶
- Tree View: Located at the top right of the program page, this dashboard allows admins to manage the entire initiative hierarchy from a single page.
- Gantt Chart: A visual tool within the dashboard for monitoring activity progress and timelines.
- Real-time Notifications: A built-in system that notifies personnel of upcoming due dates and new assignments.
3. Financial Management¶
- Bottom-Up Budgeting: The program budget is calculated automatically based on the expenses managed at the task level. Admins manage sub-activity expenses, which reflect upward to the project and program levels.
4. Dashboards¶
Each element in the hierarchy (from Program to Sub-activity) features a dedicated dashboard to monitor: - Budget utilization - Completion progress - Resources and assets
