Data Migration¶
If you're moving from spreadsheets or legacy tools, we can migrate your existing program data into Gohorto with validation and reconciliation.
What we can migrate¶
- Startups / organizations: profiles, teams, stages, tags/categories
- Members: mentors/coaches/investors/trainees, roles, group membership (where applicable)
- Cohorts and programs: cohort rosters, lifecycle metadata, historical participation
- Operational data (as applicable): tasks, milestones, engagements, training enrollments
- Reporting history: requested report responses and exported summaries (where format allows)
How migration works¶
- Inventory & mapping: confirm sources, field mapping, and required transformations.
- Import staging: run imports in a staging tenant and validate with sample users.
- Reconciliation: compare totals, spot-check critical records, resolve anomalies.
- Production cutover: run final import, freeze legacy updates (if needed), confirm completion.
Migration quality gates¶
- Completeness: record counts match agreed totals
- Integrity: relationships preserved (e.g., startup ↔ cohort, mentor ↔ engagements)
- Access control: data is visible only to the correct tenant and role
- Auditability: migration steps are documented for repeatability
What we need from you¶
- Export files (CSV/Excel) and any legacy field definitions
- Required “source of truth” rules for duplicates and conflicting records
- Approval for the final field map before cutover
