Dashboard Overview for Founders

Your startup dashboard is your command center on Gohorto. It provides a comprehensive view of your progress, upcoming tasks, appointments, and all the resources you need to succeed in your program.

Dashboard Layout

The startup dashboard is organized into several key sections:

1. Header Section

Top Navigation Bar: - Platform Logo: Click to return to dashboard home - Main Menu: Access to major sections (Profile, Applications, Projects, etc.) - Search Bar: Quick search across platform content - Notifications: Bell icon showing alerts and updates - Profile Menu: Your profile picture with dropdown for settings and logout

2. Overview Widgets

Progress Summary: - Program Progress: Visual progress bar showing your advancement through the program - Milestones Achieved: Number of milestones completed vs. total - Overall Status: Current program status (Active, On Track, Needs Attention)

Key Metrics: - Tasks Completed: Number of tasks completed vs. assigned - Appointments Scheduled: Upcoming mentor sessions - Forms Submitted: Forms completed vs. required - Applications: Active application statuses

3. Recent Activity Feed

Shows your latest activities: - Task completions - Appointment bookings - Form submissions - Messages received - Status updates

4. Quick Actions Panel

Shortcuts to common tasks: - Book Appointment: Schedule a session with a mentor - Submit Form: Complete and submit a required form - Update Profile: Edit your startup profile - View Tasks: See all assigned tasks - Access Files: View shared files and documents

Activities (Milestones/Boards)

View your progress through an interactive board. Each activity is divided into Stages (Milestones), and each stage contains specific tasks and requirements you must fulfill to advance.

Project Portfolio

Manage your project's digital identity. - Team Members: Add or remove collaborators. - Progress Tracking: A visual overview of your journey. - Engagement: A log of all interactions with experts and admins. - Project Catalog: Access a structured summary of your business (revenue streams, value proposition, etc.) in a printable format.

Business Scheme Builder (Strategic Templates)

Develop your business strategy using integrated templates such as the Business Model Canvas (BMC). These are reviewed and approved by experts to ensure your strategy is sound.

Task Management

A collaborative space to manage your daily objectives. - Attachments: Upload evidence or supporting documents. - Checklists: Break down complex tasks into actionable steps. - Progress Bars: Real-time tracking of task completion.

Mentorship (Appointments)

Connect directly with assigned experts. - Booking: Schedule sessions based on expert availability. - Feedback & Resources: Use the dedicated appointment page to exchange messages and files with your mentor.

Dashboard Customization

Widget Arrangement

Some dashboards allow you to customize widget placement:

  1. Enter Edit Mode: Look for "Customize" or "Edit Dashboard" button
  2. Drag Widgets: Rearrange widgets by dragging
  3. Show/Hide Widgets: Toggle widget visibility
  4. Save Changes: Save your custom layout

Filtering and Sorting

Tasks: - Filter by status (All, To Do, In Progress, Completed) - Sort by due date, priority, or name - Filter by assigner (Admin, Mentor, Self)

Appointments: - Filter by date range - Filter by mentor/coach - Show only upcoming or include past

Forms: - Filter by status - Sort by due date - Show only pending forms

Key Metrics Explained

Program Progress

Shows your advancement through the program: - Percentage Complete: Overall program completion - Current Phase: Which phase/stage you're in - Next Milestone: Upcoming milestone to achieve

Task Completion Rate

  • Completed Tasks: Number of tasks finished
  • Total Tasks: Total tasks assigned
  • Completion Rate: Percentage of tasks completed
  • On-Time Rate: Percentage completed by due date

Engagement Metrics

  • Mentor Sessions: Number of sessions completed
  • Forms Submitted: Forms completed on time
  • Messages Exchanged: Communication activity level

To Profile Management

  1. Click "Profile" in main menu, or
  2. Click "Update Profile" quick action, or
  3. Click your profile picture → "My Profile"

To Applications

  1. Click "Applications" in main menu
  2. View all applications and their statuses
  3. Start new application if programs are open

To Projects & Tasks

  1. Click "Projects" or "Tasks" in main menu, or
  2. Click on a task widget on dashboard
  3. View detailed project and task information

To Appointments

  1. Click "Appointments" in main menu, or
  2. Click "Book Appointment" quick action
  3. View calendar and schedule sessions

To Forms

  1. Click "Forms" in main menu, or
  2. Click "Submit Form" quick action
  3. View pending and completed forms

To Files

  1. Click "Files" in main menu
  2. Access shared files and documents
  3. Upload files if needed

Notifications

Notification Types

  • Task Assignments: New tasks assigned to you
  • Task Reminders: Tasks due soon or overdue
  • Appointment Confirmations: Mentor session confirmations
  • Appointment Reminders: Upcoming appointment alerts
  • Form Reminders: Forms due soon
  • Messages: New messages from mentors or admins
  • Status Updates: Application or program status changes
  • Program Announcements: Important program updates

Managing Notifications

  1. View Notifications: Click notification bell icon
  2. Mark as Read: Click notification to mark as read
  3. Mark All as Read: Option to clear all notifications
  4. Notification Settings: Configure what notifications you receive
