Your profile is your identity on Gohorto. A complete and accurate profile helps you connect with the right people, access relevant resources, and make the most of the platform. This guide will help you set up and manage your profile effectively.

Accessing Your Profile

From the Dashboard

  1. Click on your profile icon (usually in the top-right corner)
  2. Select "Profile" or "My Profile" from the dropdown menu

From Navigation Menu

  • Look for "Profile" or "Account" in the main navigation menu
  • Click to access your profile page

Profile Sections

Your profile typically consists of several sections, which may vary based on your role:

1. Basic Information

Required Fields: - Full Name: Your first and last name - Email Address: Your primary email (used for login and notifications) - Phone Number: Contact phone number - Profile Photo: Upload a professional photo (recommended)

Optional Fields: - Title/Position: Your job title or role - Bio/About: Brief description about yourself - Location: City and country - Website: Personal or company website - Social Media Links: LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

2. Role-Specific Information

For Startups / SMEs

  • Company Name: Your startup or company name
  • Company Description: What your company does
  • Industry/Sector: Primary industry or sector
  • Stage: Current stage (Idea, MVP, Early Stage, Growth, etc.)
  • Founded Date: When your company was founded
  • Team Size: Number of employees
  • Funding Stage: Current funding status
  • Key Metrics: Revenue, users, growth metrics
  • Company Logo: Upload your company logo

For Mentors / Coaches

  • Expertise Areas: Areas of specialization
  • Years of Experience: Years in your field
