Role Selection and Switching

Gohorto supports multiple user roles, and some users may have access to multiple roles. This guide explains how role selection works and how to switch between roles if you have access to more than one.

Understanding Roles in Gohorto

Each user account in Gohorto is associated with one or more roles. Your role determines:

  • Which dashboard you see when you log in

Users may have multiple roles in different scenarios:

  • Mentor + Investor: A mentor who also invests in startups
  • Startup Founder + Mentor: A founder who mentors other startups
  • Program Admin + Mentor: An administrator who also provides mentorship
  • Investor + Program Host: An investor who runs an accelerator program
